The affordable housing crisis demands innovative solutions. ADL Ventures proposes a cutting-edge model: a productized, open-source platform using industrialized construction (IC) technology and a network of prefabrication factories to deliver high-performance, affordable housing nationwide.

Our Western North Carolina Industrialized Construction Tech Hub is central to this effort. We will collaborate with local developers, municipalities, and the community to create a catalog of configurable IC components designed for energy efficiency and minimal embodied materials.

This open-source catalog will streamline housing design, cutting time and costs compared to traditional methods, and provide real-time project cost estimates. Developers can then use our vetted prefabrication network to manufacture and assemble IC components, reducing construction timelines by up to 50% and achieving economies of scale that traditional methods cannot match.
